SANKON President Ferudun Cevahiroğlu visited the Embassy of India in Ankara

SANKON President Ferudun Cevahiroğlu visited the Embassy of India in Ankara and stated that SANKON is ready to contribute to the economic and commercial relations between Turkey and India and to improve the existing cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of India in Ankara. Uma Kant, Undersecretary of Commerce of the Embassy of the Republic of India in Ankara, invited Turkish companies to invest in their country and expressed their readiness to cooperate with SANKON organization.

Cevahiroğlu also stated that they had visited the Indian Embassy in the past years and said, “In order to contribute to our economic and commercial relations between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of India, we would like to organize a physical and online economic cooperation forum with the participation of video conferences and many SANKON member companies between the two countries as soon as possible. We want to visit India with a large delegation of SANKON member companies as soon as possible and sign many bilateral agreements.”

Cevahiroğlu said, “Under the terms of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our economic, commercial and strategic cooperation between the Republic of India and the Republic of Turkey has reached the highest level. As Turkish companies, we welcome this situation with great satisfaction.”

INDIA INVITES TURKISH COMPANIES

In her speech, Uma Kant, Undersecretary of Commerce of the Embassy of India in Ankara, emphasized the importance of economic and commercial relations between the two countries and invited Turkish companies to invest in the country.

Kant said, “Bilateral relations between Turkey and India are strong, while the trade volume between our countries needs to increase to higher levels. In order to increase our cooperation in the economic, commercial and cultural fields between both countries, our strong cooperation with the SANKON organization will continue with determination in the following process. In this direction, we are ready to cooperate with SANKON organization for video conference and physical-online business forum in which Turkish companies will participate. We export many products from India to Turkey and import many products from Turkey. There is a need for more cooperation between Turkish companies and Indian companies.”
